As Preachers' kids (PKs), Pastor, woman married to a pastor/licensed minister and state licensed therapists, we bring a unique blend of education, training and more than 50 years of combined professional experience to the therapeutic process. Often embarassment, guilt, shame and perceived insensitivity to religious tradition prevent people from seeking the help they may want or need. We understand the courage it takes to ask for help and commend you for your willingness to take that step. We are here to offer you "A Caring Hand In Life's Journey."
Wm.-Amanze M. Pinckney, M.DIV., LICDC-CS, SAP, BCPCC is a graduate of the University of Maryland and Howard University School of Divinity. He is an ordained pastor, and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and The Baptist Pastors' Conference of Columbus and Vicinity. He is a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor-Clinical Supervision, a training qualified Substance Abuse Professional and a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor with more than thirty years of counseling experience within the church community, clinical settings, including employment as a Psychologist Assistant with the State of Ohio. He specializes in Christian Counseling, particularly, the negative impact of addictions (substance and behavioral/process) on individuals (adolescents and adults), couples, families and other relationships, such as churches, and providing psychological testing.
Deborah E. Pinckney , M.S.Ed., LPCC-S, LCDC III, BCPCC, SAP is a graduate of Marshall University and The University of Dayton. She is a, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor-Supervisor, a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor III, a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor, a training qualified Substance Abuse Professional, and a Licensed Minister. She specializes in Christian Counseling, particularly as it relates to working with adolescent girls and women regarding issues in addictions (substance and behavioral/process), the negative impact of addictions on individuals, couples, families and other relationships, career counseling, post-abortion healing, sexual abuse/trauma, life transitions, anxiety, depression and psychological testing.
Together we co-facilitate couples counseling (pre-marital and marital) including specialized work with clergy couples, as our schedules permit.
